‘weaving to integrate the elusive threads of our lives’

About

Dad moved the family west during my most impressionable years. I now draw upon my childhood experiences of rock hunting on Wyoming’s Red Desert, getting drenched by the summer rainstorms, burrowing among chokecherry bushes and reading ‘stories’ in the clouds. Such memories define my sense of color, texture and pattern. I discovered weaving as a preferred artistic medium after spontaneously using the mortgage money to buy a loom at a local garage sale.

I only do one-of-a-kind weavings, often dye my own yarns, enjoy creating new designs and believe in changing pattern on a whim. Come imagine with me.

My work has won awards but you won’t find anything bizarre here. Just be prepared for little surprises.
